ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Cristóbal (Acuña) Santa María — a Chilean Art Director and Visual Designer based in Berlin with a background in advertising, branding, and digital design. I’m passionate about storytelling through visuals, and I bring a multicultural perspective to every project I work on.
Most recently, I worked as Visual Design Manager Europe at Audible (Amazon), where I led creative campaigns for Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. I collaborated with cross-functional teams and managed a group of freelance designers, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual voice across all markets. I also rolled up my sleeves for many key projects myself, from concept to final execution.
What I enjoy most is working in content-driven environments, where design plays a central role in how people connect with stories, emotions, and culture. Whether it’s audiobooks, podcasts, film, or music — I thrive when I get to shape visual worlds around meaningful content.
I’m currently looking for opportunities in global creative teams, especially within companies that value design as a strategic tool and where cultural diversity is seen as a strength. Open to both freelance and full-time roles.
